Micro:Bit Manual?
Hi All!
Just got a Micro:bit and I have a question.
Perhaps I've missed it somewheres but is there such a thing as a programming manual for the wee beastie? I mean like for the Stamp or Propeller.
I've looked at the online tutorials and I'm a little put off by the kid's book graphics and I really don't want to put together a program by stacking colored blocks. I've never used BlocklyProp!
Maybe I'm complaining too much but I really enjoy programming my toys by typing and not juggling things around with a mouse.
Anyhow... thanks for letting me rant a bit!

I'm with you on the typing and Python is a fairly easy and interesting language to go with, my preference for a code editor would be Mu. Apart from the links rosco posted (good links) I would be inclined to install Python 3 and run through some of the online/youtube Python tutorials for a better understanding of the language. I ordered the Microbit surprise box thing but I am am out of town right now and not had chance to look at it, when I get back I have a few ideas I want to develop and post here in the Parallax forum
