  I think the reason is that most people look to Ebay for deals like this, even forum users. And the forum rules explicitly ban these sorts of adverts, as we all learned from the past how the forum (probably all forums really) became overrun with marketing and adverts that were increasing difficult to moderate and often spiral negatively. I guess most longer time members are also weary of that, and Ebay (or similar) is recommended.

  I never thought of such reasons but fair enough, i will share them on Ebay.
