Hello ParallaxForum,

We are still completely new to this forum.
After we managed the EASYFILE problem with the help of Peter Jakacki,
we get NETWORK STATUS: LINK DOWN after BUILDING EASYNET with the follwing steps
1 - Load EEPROM with kernel (TACHYON5r4.SPIN with PropellerTool (5MHZ))
2 - Paste EXTEND.FTH
( SYSTEM REBOOTS WHEN DONE )
3 - FORGET TOOLS (HIT THE ENTER TWICE)
4 - Paste EASYFILE.FTH (&27.24.26.25 SDPINS ( SD8 ))
5 - RECLAIM
6 - Paste EASYNET.FTH (&17.20.19.18 WIZPINS ( P8 ))
7 - Paste FTP.FTH
8 - Paste HTTP.FTH

The complete output after reset of the board is:
Propeller .:.:--TACHYON--:.:. Forth V5r4 NEON 540181011.1000

Does anyone have an idea to get rid of that problem?

Best regards from Germany.

Link status is solely a function of the W5500 chip itself and reflected in its link status LEDs. As long as your device is plugged in to the network, the lights will blink accordingly and the link status will be reported.

BTW, you can RECLAIM again after everything is loaded to free up some more memory.
  • I get you status when re-power with the serial plug still connected.
So remove the prop plug, an do power cycle.
  • It seems to solve the problem.
    I get
    LINK *UP*
    now.
    Thank you very much.
