Old MXD2125 demo

A long time ago...
There was spin demo for the MXD2125 that used the TV library and output a pitch and yaw screen similar to a flight simulator visual.
This is not the same demo that is now available in the Parallax OBEX page.
I planned to show the demo to some friends, and that old demo was more interesting than the new one.
Best regards.

There are a few for that chip in the sources that come with the Propeller Tool. Not sure if you mean the one in the attached photo? That's Memsic2125v2_Graphics_Demo.spin in the _Demos subdirectory.
I don't have the device so can only feed it fake values, but it looks like the one you're describing. I think I remember seeing the YouTube video of this in action quite awhile ago, too, but can't find it, at the moment...

    Cheers,

  • That was my code that I wrote about 9 years ago. The files were on the OBEX, but have since been removed (not sure why). If I remember correctly, the hardest part of the program when I wrote it was calculating the pitch horizon line so that it didn't extend past the circle as you tilted up or down while operating at an angle.

There are a couple of demos in OBEX:

The last one is the one Beau wrote.
  • Thanks, I'll check them out.
