EMIC2 TTS External Amplifier

Hello,

I am using the EMIC2 TTS which has a 300mw amplifier on board for the speaker output. However, I would like to use a speaker at 1.5watts 8ohm. Is it possible to add a second amplifier such as (https://adafruit.com/product/2130?gclid=CjwKEAjw7J3KBRCxv93Q3KSukXQSJADzFzVS3ctDXiVKTliJNTKxZuqj6fk5Td_-lZqtcerNALIUdBoCKpnw_wcB) or either by pass the onboard amplifier?

    The LM4864MM in the emic is analog output so adding a second amp should be fine although you might need a potentiometer or voltage divider to reduce the input signal to the second amp.

    With mine I typically use an amplified speaker setup for that step.
