    That's a substantial BOM for the price.! The Chinglish manual is a little hard to read. :)

    SMD but looks quite doable. I found soldering bigger size SMD resistors and caps etc is easier than messing around poking leads through holes an trimming them.

    Those chips have nice big pads.

    My Yamaha CS3 200cc motorcycle repair manual, circa 1972, opened with this statement:

    "Repair of Yamaha motorcycle require great peace of mind."

    Some of the wisest advice I have ever read. Very Zen.

    I like to think such statements inspired the writing of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", 1974.
