Funny story: An organization that I belong to was having a meeting and the president wanted to honor one of the older members with a really nice birthday cake. Rather than put dozens of little candles on it, she used sparklers. It took about 15 minutes for the fire department to get there to shut off the alarms. The smoke didn't clear for another half hour. It also ruined half the cake.
