The directions on the CD were a "Compass Rose" downloaded from a royalty free website and modified. The way to do this is to: (a) Do a google search for "compass rose" being sure to select images as the type of search, There are many images available that way. I prefer the ones with finer gradations along the edge; (2) download the image as a graphic (e.g. jpg, png, etc); 3) use MS Paint or any graphic program to modify the image as you prefer. For example on the vertical disc you may want to remove the N,S, E & W letters. I suggest cleaning up the image to simplify it.; 4) Print the compass rose such that the output size matches the diameter of the CD or other disc you are using and attach it with rubber cement then trim it; and 5) a small piece of aluminium cut from a soda can be attached with a screw to become the indicator needle.

    Dear Gregg(Prophead100),

Congratulations for your amazing presentation on Parallax Meetup Group!
I saw live the presentation using the Webinar on Thursday 03/29/2012.
It was a very interesting topic althought the time was a small problem for me (here in Greece it was 4:30 in the morning)
I have been working for a similar project for a long time.
Thanks for the PDF file. Looking your methods I thought to use the same name of variables as yours and the same name of methods in order to create a type of "standars" in this type of SPIN codes and in order to can compare the various results.
I would like to ask if the solar object 2.4 exists ont the OBEX
    .
    Thank you

Thanks for event video. I was able to catch the end of it live.
    Great projects and presentations. Bookmarked!

You've come a long way in the live video department. (some early attempts were, shall we say, not as good)
Tip of the cap to the whole crew, well done.

    Hi Nikos,

I am glad you enjoyed it. Its great to be able to share your projects. The 2.4 object, demo code and other reference info is on the OBEX. Just search for solar. Feel free to use and/or change any of the code and have fun.

    Gregg (Prophead100)

P.S. There was an engineer from Greece (Cypress) in the audience at Rocklin.
