Reading a LTC1865 ADC

Has anyone used the LTC1865 16 bit ADC 2 ch.
It is pin compatible to the LTC1298 which is half duplex 12 bit
The LTC1865 is full duplex.
Thank you for any help or suggestions.

    According to the datasheet the LTC1865 is a 16bit upgrade to the LTC1298.

    I think you are mistaken about half and full duplex. Both ICs use SPI/MICROWIRE™ Compatible Serial I/O and both ICs can have Dout and Din tied together if you want to use one IO pin.

    Anybody ever write a driver for this?

    Was hoping could just tweak the ltc1298 driver but look too different for that, even though pinout is the same…

    You might want to look at the MCP3426. Already spin code out there for it.
