Debugging sensor values through propplug to spreadsheet? (PLX-DAQ issues)

What is the simplest way to do this? Right now I am using the PropTerminal but I can only display so much data at once. I'd like to have a spreadsheet of the sensor readings over time to produce graphs. Thanks.
Edit: now trying to get PLX-DAQ to work with Office 2007 on Vista

The only problem now is I can't get it running. When I try to run the macro, I get a "Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine." Going on to debug, the "Stamp.Disconnect" line of code is highlighted in this block:
I'm using Office 2007 on Vista. I loaded the code for the prop into the eeprom and installed the files into the default location (program files/parallax inc/PLX-DAQ). I then rebooted and tried to load the macro (after enabling macros it in the excel security section).
A quick search yields this thread http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=680436 where Space Cadet 3rd class appears to have the same problem, but no solution is discussed. Searching google, the first link appears to describe this error as related to problems going from older versions of Microsoft Office applications to newer ones. Is there anything I should try?

Sorry to say I have neither a Vista machine or Office 2007 to test the errors with, but from the sounds of it, the serial communications control (selmaDAQ2.OCX I think) did not install properly on your machine.· It may simply be an issue with Vista.

I did however manage to get it to run on an XP machine, and it worked great! Attached is a plot of the H48C used for tilt angle measuring in combination with a gyro, thanks to PLX-DAQ!

I didn't have to do anything special with it to get it to work here on that setup.

I'm glad others have had success with that platform.
Maybe it has something to do with macro security or user rights when installing? Hmmmmm

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"
"Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'PLX-DAQ.msi' in the box below"
I searched my harddrive for a "PLX-DAQ.msi" but did not find one. The unzipped the zip file only had one file, PLX-DAQ.exe, which I ran to install it before. Are there supposed to be more files?
I also have user account control disabled.
