I was pleasantly surprised to find a "Understanding Signals Parts and Text (Includes the Parallax USB Oscilloscope)" under the tree this morning. I heard that I have Wendy in Sales to thank for helping my wife pick a great gift. My wife was really impressed by her knowledge and willingness to help. The 20% off coupon was great also.

Oldbitcollector and DGSwaner - nice. (By the way - the Propwiki is really nice.)

As posted on another thread - I got

BOE- Boost - had to try it out.
ServoPal -can't wait to play with this.
SoundPal and PIEZO speaker - for fun!
CD ROM, Basic Stamps in Action - to show kids for classes or Robot camp.

Plus... RADIO SHACK/Parallax paid big dividends!

My wife also surprised me with a PING))) and a PIR Sensor Module.

Lucky Guys - My wife stated that she 'did not get any of that electronic stuff - that's work and I know you need a break from it' (grrrrh) so I got a jumper (sweater for u guys states side),shirt and some aftershave .. 'nice' ! (I said trying to smile). Even had dropped hints and circled 'must get items' in various·brochures ..

The least she could have done is gotten you a pocket protector for the new shirt. turn.gif

Actually, if she likes you in the shirt, sweater and aftershave... it might not be so bad...

A Pro Dev Board (however did missus santa know) and she was even wise enough to scoop up some IC samples from the mail while I was at work and stuff them in my stocking!

I always knew she was a keeper. :)

Merry Christmas all...

Santa liked me this year, i already had the BS2 uC, BOE, and PSC(USB)(which i need help with, in some other thread) but pretty much nothing else. this year i got the rest for the BOE-Bot, LCD AppMod, Compass module, BS2p(nice, i need to see how to use RAM), Ping)) and bracket, hall effect sensor, and a bunch of littel goodies that normally come with the BOE-Bot, i can do pert near anything with it.

happy new everybody.
