Help with proto board

I just bought the Propeller Proto Board, hooked it up, and the propeller tool does not recognize it.

I have provided power to the board, and i am using a propplug to connect it to my computer.
The drivers for the usb device are installed, and my computer recognizes the usb.

Any help would be great, thanks.

    what does the computer say when you hook up the plug? I have clip so i don't know but can you only put it on one way?

    I put on in upside down my first time too! I should have know the corporate logo should be showing...

    For the education kit you have to plug it with the corporate logo to the bottom. Since I have both, I always mix this up... smile.gif

    Edu Kit: It all depends on you! Parallax recommends to insert it somewhere....
    But in most cases it is more handy to insert it so that XMT and RCV just match with the last Propeller pins smile.gif

    I could have sworn the document was updated to contain directions for connecting the PropPlug. I will make sure this information is added after I return in the new year.
