Very useful "kitchen sink" calculator

While trying to tease out why my crc8 and crc32 spin routines aren't working (crc16 working), I ran across this very useful calculator of nearly everything: MiscEl. The calculator can compute formulas related to weather, light, sound, various electrical laws, and many more handy tools such as color picking, inductor design, even chosing the right heatsink and fan sizing. There is something for everyone in this program. The program is very terse in it's function (no help file and online pages are the briefest of descriptions), but if you have an understanding of the formulas behind the calculator page you are using, it is clear how to use it.

Nice find Paul.

Terse is a good description. Took a bit to figure out that in order to close a tab you have to double click on it.
Thats new. :)

Perfection in design is not achieved when there is nothing left to add.
It is achieved when there is nothing left to take away.

A right mouse click on a unused portion of a page will pull up a menu with close page as an option

A hidden treasure!
Even if you need one of the 'pages' only, it can be useful!
