Controlling a computer through BS2

This is a question regarding the Basic Stamp, I'm hoping that I'm correctly understanding the capabilities of the BS2 but I figure I'd ask straight out before potentially heading down the wrong road too far.

I have been trying to find a way to have a computer control another computer as if it was a human sitting in front of it - by means of the keyboard and mouse. I have searched through the forums and read through (hopefully) relevant topics related to 'keyboard' and 'mouse' but being new, I'm still not quite sure if Basic Stamp, or Propeller, is what I'm looking for. What is the feasibility that the BS2 (or other microcontroller here) could do what I want? I was kinda hoping to find a project that is mostly done that I could just pick up and make it work for me but if a bit more learning and digging is required then thats fine. Also, if there is a product already in existence that does this, please point me in the right direction.

I have read where you *can* control a mouse using a BS2 (colinfahey.com/oldpages/2002june5_ps2mouse/index.htm) but I'm still left wondering how I would control the BS2 - like from the controlling computer's serial to the BS2, through a PS/2 cable to the controlled computer?

I did find a device that would be a good fit (Mule) but I would still need to find something to control the mouse (and the price seems a bit high too). Something like the ezMouse or ezKey would seem to do what I want if only it was the reverse direction (serial to ps/2 instead of ps/2 to serial).

So would BS2 (or Propeller) be a good fit or would it not be that practical? Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Although it would be possible, I suspect that emulating a PS/2 keyboard and mouse would be difficult for a BS2 to do without some external hardware to help with the bit timing.

Emulating a PS/2 mouse and keyboard would be easy for a Propeller to do and you could communicate with your "controlling" computer via serial not to mention do a lot of processing on the Propeller itself.

I'm not aware of anyone already doing the necessary drivers to do this kind of emulation although I remember similar discussions in the past. You might search back through the Propeller forum, maybe even looking manually through the various threads.
