Bluetooth version & EmbeddedBlue Transceiver AppMod

I'm interested in using the EmbeddedBlue Transceiver AppMod.· The specs on it say that it is Bluetooth Version 1.2 compliant.· Most of the USB Bluetooth adaptors for a PC are now version 2.0.· Will these version 2 adaptors recognize the version 1.2 AppMod?

Yes, you can use Bluetooth adapters that are version 2.0.· We have used "Targus" adapters and they work great.· Here is a link for the adapter:
