I'm thinking about doing a MIDI player for the Prop...· But, don't want to re-invent the wheel here...

(Probably starting with just one or two channels and sine waves...)

Has anybody already done this?

    That's really a bolt-on on top of the Sound Synthesiser stuff I was doing.

    MIDI is the potentially easier part, creating the sound synthesiser is more involved; VCO's, ADSR's and patching. Plus allocating notes to different sound generating channels if you want polyphonic sounds.

    If you want simpler MIDI, check out HDMF in the Hydra forum, which all input files are MIDIs, then converted to another format for easier use on the Prop.
