FCC regulations of the phone line?

Hi-
I need to find the specs for the US phone line (e.g line impedance, nominal ring voltage, current draw, ring frequency etc) for a programmable DAA I'm going to be using.
Extensive Googling and the FCC website have turned up empty for me, perhaps I'm using the wrong search terms...
Any pointers are appreciated[noparse]:)[/noparse]
