This is a support forum for Parallax's Stamp microcontrollers which are completely unrelated to RCSYS's V-Stamp.
If you have questions about or problems with a V-Stamp, you'll really have to communicate with RCSYS, particularly
because it's a specialized text to speech processor, not a general purpose microcontroller.
To change something in the synthesizer you have send a command character,
Control-A (ASCII(1)) by default, followed by a numeric parameter and then a
command character. It's all right in the manual for the RC8660 chipset as that's
the chipset used on the V-Stamp.
Despite the similiarity in names, the V-Stamp is NOT "programmed" in the BASIC
programming language... of ANY form.
Daryll, feel free to P-M me with further questions about the V-Stamp. I'm not a rep
for the company (RC Systems), just a happy customer who tinkers with a lot of
different voice synthesizers.
