Does each Toddler have it's own personality?

·· I was running the 'first steps using tables' program and noticed my Toddler when finished was pointing at a roughly 45 degree angle from when·he started.· So·he was making a slow circle as·he was moving.· I can see·he looks as though·he is tilting to one side more then the other, which would no doubt cause him to turn like that.· I can't see anything wrong with him mechanically, so I was wondering if each Toddler has his own 'personality', that is do you find you need to tweak the stock programs to have your Toddler move as it should?· Have other people noticed their Toddlers 'wandering off' like mine does?·

Thanks!

Based in the description you make, I agree with your diagnose that there must be a mechanical problem.
Maybe the rods between servos and feet are sligthly different in lenght, and this is causing the curious behaviour.

I suggest going through the "servo centering" process again.· After you have completed the centering process, check to see that both feet are completly flat on the table and·are lined up side by side.·

·· When I center the servos, the plastic horn certainly looks centered, but the left foot is about 1/2" in front of the right foot.· How about the amount of of the brass right angle wires sticking out of the EZ connectors?· Should the amount sticking out be the same on both sides?· Is this critical?

·· Also have a question about the plastic wire keepers on the legs.· The manual says to keep them loose enough, but I have mine really tight.· Before they were loose, but were moving up and down too much, I thought.· Could having them too tight cause a problem?

    Thanks!

·· I did adjust the left brass angle wire so both legs were more or less side by side, and this has made a big difference!· He now is off around 5 degrees where before he was off around 45 degrees.· I suppose I could play around some more, but hey...I can live with this for now! cool.gif

    Thanks
