making 555 timer replicate the pulseout command

Hey guys,

Im trying to get a positive pulse width beteween 1 to 2 ms out of my 555 timer.· Is this possible? if it is, any idea how to?

    You could set the 555 up in one-shot mode so that activating the trigger input sends out a fixed pulse within that range, but you won’t be able to change the output range in real-time without extra hardware.
