I've just posted a specialized MCP2515 CAN Controller object (SPI) for the propeller.
(Object exchange - Protocols)
I've included a schematic showing how I'm using the device today which
shows ways you can attach this device. (You've choices to make on
how many pins you wish to dedicate as it can work in various ways.)
I welcome all comments, of course. I'm most interested in hearing of
performance issues you may spot with this code or where I can
improve my use of the assembly language (and spin language).
This is the backend of a larger USB to CAN device (propeller-based)
which I have working today and am now intensely performance tuning.
(Hence, if you see things performce-wise, please let me know!· ;-)
Enjoy!
