·· I am looking for someone who would be willing to tutor me in propellor technologies. Small compensation is possible and can be negogiated. I am talking in the range of $50 here and there a few times a year.
··· 1. Age is no limit, must be able to communicate in English. I would say anyone over 14 might be good.
··· 2. Education not a factor. If you understand stamp or propellor technologies you have enough education to help me so any high school student would be fine. PS, I am a retired Math teacher and very proficient up to Calculus II, so you would have a built in Math tutor also.
··· 3. If you are just starting propellor technologies and would like to work with me, we can figure this stuff out together. I know programming and math so I might be able to help you. I found the best way to learn is by teaching it. I didn't understand Calculus untill I had to teach it at school.

·· If you would be interested in any of the above, please e-mail me.

same adress for msm if you have it.

you might want to start with the PE kit labs, you don't have to have a PE kit:

I am thinking more in terms of future years not the next few days. I have read everything I can find and none of it is new. We are going back to the 80's here just now it's component level instead of system level. We had the same issues with the Radioshack TRS-80 as You have with the prop chip. Most of the terminology is exactly the same as 20 yrs ago. IE: compile and assembly language. I am looking for some for systems development as the long term goal. I expect to run out of resources within a couple of months but it will be very limited area for me.
BTW: We have also regressed in terms of communication: I thought when phone rates went so low, Writing letters would be a thing of the past in terms of communicating. Now I spend about an hour a day typing letters, orders and forums.·Granted we communicate with billions of people in a matter of minutes now but it's still back to typing.

I'm in the same boat, waiting for the parts to arrive.....its going to be an interesting learning curve to say the least. I've been told that the hardware will shore up a lot of the questions about the system and how it works. Hope its as easy as it looks.

Are you using the Gear? I found that it is very helpful in running the assembler tutorial by desilvia and the lessons in the prop manual.
