Hi,
Has anyone tried to use the propplug to get usb access to the 4D uOLED-128?
Of course you would have correct for the two different pinouts,
but if you did that and supplied·the·required 3-5v, would it work?
PropPlug······ uOLED header (after matching up the pins)
Gnd············· Gnd
/RST············ /RST
Tx················Tx
Rx················Rx
·················· + <-- supply 3-5v·here and it should work?
thanks!
Joe

But both sides of the plug differ slightly!
You can solder a 4-pin connector to the back side getting a fully compatible Plug for Propeller boards
You can also solder a five-pin connector to the front side; in this case GND and RST are crossed, and I suspect that this is also the needed configuration for the OLED.
BTW: you can of course also solder a 5-pin connector to the back side giving you the 5 V supply from the USB port.
Yes, we have tested the Prop Plug with the uOLED-128 and it works fine. The main difference, as you mentioned, is that you must still power the display. Be sure the power source has a common ground with the Prop Plug. Take care.
