max636/637 counterpart for +12V?

Maxim's max636 converts +5V to -12V. Is there something like it that converts +5V to +12V?
I expected Maxim to have something but I don't see it. Anyway, manufacturer doesn't matter, but I'm
hoping for something that needs a minimum of external components.

Speaking of external components, if you know of a +5/-12V converter that needs fewer external components than max636, I'm all ears.

In short: Looking to convert +5V to +12V and -12V as easily as possible.

    With a 5V input, the MAX761 guarantees a 12V, 150mA output.

Also look at the Linear LT1301.

The ST662AB and ST662AC devices can even be paralled .

    mpark,

How much current do you need at each of +12V and -12V? What are the voltage tolerances?

Current? Just powering a couple of op-amps, so not much. 50 mA as a SWAG. I guess I should be a little more rigorous, eh?

    Sparks, thanks for the pointers.

    I found a DC/DC converter that'll give me + and -12V, so I'm going to give it a try.
