What all do I need

I am going to install a computer in my car and want to make the monitor rotate up and down. I will be using a servo motor for this. In my looking and searching around it was recommended that I use a stamp. I have done basic programing many moons ago. What all do I need to by besides a stamp to program this function? And what stamp would be best for this?

to program the stamp you'll just need a way to connect it to your computer. Serial or USB. a carrier board is a good way for testing and programing your project.

As far as your project you'll need a power source for your Stamp and the servo. other than that I think that's it.

if all your doing is moving a servo I would use a Basic Stamp 1. it will be the most cost effective solution. Projects tend to grow so I guess it depends on what your current and future needs are.
