can't find parallax font

File under the Mystery of Vista:
Although the spin files seem to display just fine in the IDE, I can't find the parallax font in any other program, nor in the system's font folder.
Can anyone explain how this font can be found and used by other programs besides the IDE?
details: Vista home premium (typical misnomer, as this is probably the least capable and cheapest version), IDE v1.05.8
