R&R a Low Power H Bridge to a High Power H Bridge ???

I want to use the higher-power H Bridge on the HB-25 or other product to replace the low-power H Bridge on my robot controller ...

How do I do that?

My current controller has a L293D H Bridge chip in a socket. I want to remove the L293D and wire-up a bigger H Bridge circuit in its place.
