A good working program for the 74LS164

Hey all,

I'm looking for a working program for the BS2 to run the 74HC164. I have used the program off stampworks and it does not work for me.·So if any one can help me I would like it.

    "Does not work for me" just what does it do or not do? It would help if we knew where you are having problems. Also could you include your code, there might be a typo or some other problem in your copy.

    The Stampworks program is for the 74HC165 which is not the same as the 74HC164 that you mentioned. You need to either get the proper part or modify the program for the different pin connections of the 74HC164. Look at the two datasheets and compare them.

    Hey, where can I find a place to see how the 164 is counted to each other? I really need the help.

    Download datasheets from the manufacturer. They typically have examples for connecting several to each other.
