BS 2 stops working

My BS 2 will work for a few minutes then it will stop. The green power light on the board will still be lit but the LED lights set on the output pins stop working. When I try to identify it with my computer it will not have a device type but it will have·an echo and loopback as yes. When I disconnect the battery for a few minutes it will start working again. Do I need to buy a new stamp or is it a problem with my board?

I guess I will try an AC adapter and see if I have better luck.

Also make sure your total output power is not so high that the regulator is tripping out from overheating.
