Serial Communication and cable

Hi,
I just got my hands on a Basic Stamp I and I have no experience with electronics, so please bear with me.

I want to communicate between my BSI and my PC using the comm port. Can anyone tell me how to build the serial cable ? If this was already answered somewhere else on the forum please point me there.

The BS1 communicates with the PC using the PARALLEL port. To use the COM port, you will need to use the BS1 Serial Adapter (http://www.parallax.com/Store/Microcontrollers/BASICStampModules/tabid/134/List/1/ProductID/44/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName%2cProductName)
