a lcd with the basic stamp 2

i see that there are alot of people here who really know the bs2 inside out, so i found i old radio and i need help. IN that radio there was a lcd, pretty big but i do not know the details of its pareameters. Its number is WD-C2202M AND IT SAYS OPCVO 94V-0 E122419, AND IT HAS 16 JUMPER THINGS F WHICH I AM PLANNING TO PLUG INTO A BREADBOARD, BUT I DO NOT KNOW THE PINOUTS OF IT AND I DID A GOOGLE AND CAME UP WITH NOTHING, I WANNA USE IT INSTEAD OF THE COMPUTER AS A DEBUGGER. tHANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

    hey people, can i please get an answere? I already gave alot of details, i tried ideas of the wiring but still no luck, and i do not know the lcd drive since its in the black expoxy glue thing.

    Answer: you but equipment you can get data sheets for or you experiment. If you don't know what it is how are we going to figure it out? Be polite and patient and someday someone may have some input for you.

    The bottom line is that it might not be something you can use. If it’s a character LCD it will most likely have a 14-pin or 16-pin interface. Also, it may or may not have some Hitachi HD44780 controller chips on it. If these are present there is hope. But if not, the lack of any other information means there is no way for anyone to identify the device. Take care.
