My question is: Who would be willing to coach me in the development of the project I spoke about below because I lack experience but am eager and work hard at it.smhair.gif

    Anthony,

I think you will be able to get lots of help here on the forum. But, its much better if you can show us a schematic of what you need or even some of the code you've tried.

Your project is not too difficult; just break it down into sections and work on each one. For instance, get the LCD display hooked up and display the basic information. Then, you could get an a/d converter hooked up to measure and display the battery voltage. Get the sensor information into the Stamp ( either on/off or more analog signals) and do the programming so the logic gives you what you need.

    Cheers,

    Anthony,

The machine is an automated delimber/processor. I designed the controller that takes over the hydraulics of the carrier and measures the log, then cuts it to length.

You can see a few other projects on my website.

    Cheers

Interesting. We build service trucks for heavy machinery companies such as federal Equipment, Hewitt, Caterpillar and we just created a Powerbox, intelligent motor that starts upon demand of energy and stops when not in use.
Our present website is so-so...we are in the midst of setting one up.
    Thank you Tom,

    Regards
