cannot run program on BS2p40

Just received my BS2P40 and the Professional Developing Board today. I am trying to run a program on it using PBasic 2.5 and I get an error. "Can not program v1.6 of the Basic stamp 2p. contact Parallax, Inc for updated software."

Anyone know what is going on and what i need to do?

That's a really old version of the IDE.

Get Basic Stamp Windows Editor v2.3.9

Got it, I just checked and I was running 2.2.5 which didn't support the bs2p40

Just downloaded 2.3.9 and all is well.
