Creating monsters

I run a haunted house in Salem MA and I would like to build my own animations.· I am looking to create the head, eye and mouth movements that will sink up with the voice.· I would like to have my actor push a button in the scene and have the animation come to life.· I would also like to have smaller props move continuously.
Before I get deep into·trying to use the stamp will it be able to do all of this, or do I need to look for another method of control?
Thank you

Marshall

A Stamp can certainly control smaller props that move continuously or according to a timed script of some kind. Head, eye, and mouth movements could also be controlled, but the question is what the cues are. A Stamp will not be able to interpret voices, particularly what is said. You can add external circuitry that will provide a logic signal when there's a pause between words or phrases and the Stamp could react to that. Alternatively, you could record tones on one channel of a stereo recording that could control the movements (like using a touchtone dial with each key on the keypad representing a particular movement) while the voice itself is carried on the other channel.
