Source for Servo Pots ?

Does anyone know where to get the small 5K potentiometers like the ones used in RC servos. Hitec's HS-300 servo pot has a threaded bushing with a nut. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Small, small, small with a bushing and mounting nut.·It doesn't have to be any particular brand just small, small, small with a bushing and mounting nut....Any Ideas ?

Thanks....

I assume you checked with all the "big boys"? Digikey, Mouser, Allied, Jameco?

Yeah, checked them plus ten million other places. I'm suprised at the lack of information on the net regarding these small pots. Are they a secret or just a proprietary part limted to just the servo makers ?

Thank you for your help steve....

My project·requires a Potentiometer that is used as a Voltage Divider. It must be placed in a small space. What could be used to replace the Potentiometer ?

DigiKey really carries all sorts of stuff. I'd look through their catalog under potentiometers, trimmers, variable resistors, etc. Other major dealers include Newark Electronics. You can get trim pots almost too small to manipulate. If you need a particular mounting setup, you may have to call a big servo dealer or manufacturer to see where they get them and they might be made to order.

    Hi Mike,
I have searched everywhere for the small pot mentioned earlier in my post. But no luck. When I began my search, I started with the big boys like Digikey, Mouser etc. No small Rotary Pots like the ones used in RC Servos anywhere. A trimmer pot probably would not turn free enough to do what I need it to do but it's size certainly fits the bill. Are there any alternatives that I could use instead of a Pot ?

    Thanks....
