Vista problems??

I am looking a a new computer with Vista.· Has anyone experienced problems with the Propeller Tool on a Vista PC?

    I get all kinds of error messages. But, they told me it's due to my media card reader, not Vista...

    Don't like vista myself but Prop IDE works just fine under it - make sure if you have vista 64 that you use the appropriate drivers for ftdi usb to serial device- Vista is a bit ram hungry - I'd wait for SP2 - but hey that's me !

    You're not kidding! My laptop has 2 GB ram, right now hte only program I have running in the foreground is Firefox, with only one tab open. I'm using around 50% of my ram at the moment!

    I've had no problems running the propeller tool at all.

    Yeah - that's a bit crazy - I suppose all the vista 'form opacity' and 'fade in/out' stuff swallows a lot. Don't much like the Ofice 2007 stuff either ... it's all a bit soft ! Talk about bloat !
