Why is reload required to run?

Fellow SXers;

I have wired up the SX/B clock example on the PDB (using SX/28) and run the TIMER.SXB program from the examples. It works ok except that whenever I turn off the PDB board and then turn it back on, I have to download the program in order to make it run. Is this normal?· Shouldn't the program stay in memory and start running on powerup?

Do you have resonator plugged into the PDB? If you're using the Key to provide the clock that will be lost when the Key looses power.

No. I have plugged it in now and that has fixed the problem. Thanks, John
