Autonomous biped bio-mechanical Robot......
Autonomous biped bio-mechanical Robot Costume.
This is a costume that I helped make for my nephew. it's powered by a BS2. I didn't do anything fancy like add a 3x5 matrix driver. I have 14 leds each hooked to a I/O line. a speaker and a button for switching modes.
The modes are, Randomly blinking lights, Spelling out ELI (his name). and making robot noises.
for the random blinking lights I'm just producing a random number and using it to set the pins with the OUTS command.
I didn't bother putting the lights in order so for spelling out the name, I just messed with the OUTS command modifying the 1's and 0's until I got it right.
and the 3rd I just added the robot noises code from this site.
nothing to fancy but I hear it got rave reviews from everyone.
Here is a video.

I'm excited for next years Propeller powered version. I'm hoping for voice modulation and light control while noises are playing.
