Hi

I wondering which CAD program you prefer to use when you make the drawing for a new robot?

I was thinking of autoCAD but maybe there is some simpler programs that will work smoother?

sketchup sketchup sketchup!!!! it's designed to "sketchup" drawings and can also export to autocad. it's easy to learn and you can very easily build in 3d.

    Hoffa,
I have to agree with Dgswanger , I have never drew up a whole robot in a CAD program . I only use it to draw parts that I'm going to machine . Most of what I do starts on a peice of paper.
