All--
I would love to make my skid-steer--whom my wife has now named BUSTER, of all things--able to interpret Sony remote control codes to do several things . . . perhaps eight, total. Will someone please give me some hints?
Thanks!

ps I hereby add the given name of "Ugly" to the surname "Buster." Henceforth, the skid-steer will be referred to as "Ugly Buster." Bwaa, ha, ha, ha!

You can use IR leds (if you want to transmit) and the 3-lead IR detectors from Radio Shack if you're hot for instant results (use heat-shrink tubing around the LEDs); Parallax distributes IR sensors as well at their products pages, of course, as do Digi-Key, Jameco, Mouser, et al.

Hey! Thanks for the hints! Manual and code downloaded!
Buster was the name of one of my wife's old cats long ago. I always thought it was an ugly cat, hence, "Ugly Buster!"
