First of all nice new site Parallax.· I noticed that in the top right hand corner there are two buttons one says view and the other says edit when I click on the edit it freezes for a second and then it switches back to view.· What is it?·· I am not certain that this is the right thread to post in, if it is not just tell me.·

I think that is for the webmaster or someone from parallax that have the rights to change/ edit. Hey since the topic is the new site I like to say: I didn't like it. It is just like anyother site on the web and doesn't at this moment provide the same information about the product as the old model did. What I like about the old model is that each item had a description, an PDF and information all in the same page.

My opnion may not be relevant on the matter but change just for sake of change is a bad model. I'm sure that the change is more then just for looks.

Please, I don't intend to be mean on what I'm saying. It is just my opnion. My appologies in advance.

Cheers,

Senna

Change is tough for anyone... I too have gotten familiar with the old layout and will have to "re-educate" myself on where to look for things... but change is inevitible, and the new site is much cleaner.

Something lacking in the old site, and in the forums to an extent, is dating of files.
It's nice to see a release date beside the programs you are going to download.

On the forums I've always hoped for a "file section" that all is referenced. When someone starts a thread with their code, they don't always update the top post with their updated code...so in one thread you can end up with multiple revisions. Just a thought Parallax...very happy otherwise! ;)

The old site looks like it is still up.

Thanks for the heads-up, boeboy.
We're working on that issue now.

Have a great day!
Sincerely, JJ

It looks as if some of the pages haven't been updated yet, but this one http://ww1.parallax.com/Default.aspx?tabid=255 has some "click here"s that you can't click on.
The is another non-link at the bottom of this page http://ww1.parallax.com/Default.aspx?tabid=407 and about is misspelled just above the pictures of the propeller chips.

I don't know how difficult it is, but when placing the cursor over the top tabs, it turns into a text "I" instead of the standard hand making it look like you can't click on it.

I do like the new design, I'm just letting you know a few things I saw while browsing it quickly.
