Baby steps into simple image conversion and display..

Something has been bugging me for months about how small graphics are commonly stored as
byte statements in 1s and 0s. Something just looked soooo familar about it, but I couldn't place it.
Till Tonight..

Here's an easy (howbeit simple) way to convert images into something even Graphics.spin could handle.

pbm - portable bitmap file format
www.martinreddy.net/gfx/2d/PBM.txt

Of course it wouldn't be any good without a way to convert images..
Gimp/Gimp for Windows
gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

Ok, this doesn't have the sex appeal of Bagger's PropGFX stuff, but I don't see much in
the object exchange for display of images....

Have you seen this thread? http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?p=667963

It includes a couple of screenshots. Is that the sort of thing you're trying to do?
