Can the BS2 Communicate over a POTS network?

Hi,

··· I was wondering if 2 basic stamp modules could be programmed to·act like fax machines and·communicate serialy over·a POTS network.·Something like Call up one "station" log the data from that stamp, call up another one etc.

Yes. There are a variety of small modems you can buy to connect to a Stamp for this purpose, usually for use at 2400 Baud or 9600 Baud. You could also look for some old "surplus" RS232 serial modems that you could use. With the slower Stamp modules, I'd use 2400 Baud and with the faster ones, I'd use 9600.
