New to the Forum

Hi all, new to the forum. I am thinking about trying the SX microcontroller out. I have been primarily using PIC's and AVR's for the past few years. I like the fact that the SX·microcontrollers are supported by a free basic compiler, a big plus. Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself.

PS: Is there an Cadsoft Eagle library for the SX chips??

I have some ExpressPCB layouts for the SX chips, but no Eagle layouts. I know some of the forum member use Eagle so maybe they're share their library.

They're posted at the Eagle site, but under the Scenix AND the Ubicom library (old manufacturers).

The Ubicom is probably more up to date:

Scenix:

There is also a parallax.lbr file, but I'm not sure what's exactly in it.
Could be everything - BasicStamps, SXes, and the Propeller.

The parallax.lbr has Basic Stamps and Propeller.· It does not include any SX chips.· Use the ubicom.lbr for SX.
