Hi all
Can anybody tell me how can I load a program permanently on the Basic Stamp 2 , so I can run it when the power is on without need to load it every time from the editor.

can I do that? because in my project there will be no computer and the system should work when the power is turned on.

if anybody know please tell me quickly
Thanks,

Yes, the BS2 has an on-module EEPROM, which holds your program forever (or until reprogrammed). Note it holds a 'tokenized' version of your program, and is NOT designed to be read by any attached PC, so whatever you do keep a copy of your on-PC source code file.

In any event, when you power-up your BS2, it immediately begins running the on-module program.

In future please supply a 'Subject' for your postings.

first of all, thank you for the fast reply
second, do you mean that when I press the run button in the editor program that means that the program is loaded permanently on BS2? so if I run it now without connecting to the PC it will work. or I should load the program and keep the power on to store the program?

If you disconnect power, the program will still be there.· No PC required for running
