Controller problem?

Just got my Hydra.

Seems to be a problem with the controller or the controller port. It's the controller, I suspect.

After wedging the port in, the only button that seems to activate the D5 LED is the A button and the AA button.

Any suggestions as to how to diagnose this further? Do I need to run out to a pawn shop and find a NES controller? [noparse]:)[/noparse]

    Apparently it works now, after inserting/removing a few times. It's really sticky and hard to wedge in, but it gets easier. [noparse]:)[/noparse]

    Still need to find a second controller, especially for epmoyer's space battle game!

    When you insert those they are very tight when new, just make sure the little green lights next to the controller port lights that means it has communication. A little alcohol or silicon lube around the plastic housing before plugging it in helps as well to get it loose, once you do a few inserts/pulls it loosens up nicely.
