Hi, I'm Jose Abarca from Chile.

The Last Friday I was working with my GPS and my BS2. I didn't have any problem.

Today (Monday) I conected my GPS on the BS2 like always but the·chip under this sensor it was very hot and in this moment the GPS doesn`t work any more.

I think that the GPS was burned but I don't now why¡¡¡¡ If the connections was really fine and the GPS was always under the shade.

If somebody knows some·about my problem I´ll be·very thankful.

Thanks a lot¡¡¡¡ Bye, bye·

There are so many things that could have gone wrong that figuring out from your description is not possible. If you still have the connections in place, you could trace out the circuit and find out what was different from Friday to Monday. It's possible, but unlikely that a part failed during that time. What part became hot? If it's the controller on the GPS board, somehow the power got connected backwards or to too high a voltage. Does your BS2 still work properly? How did you have the BS2 and GPS connected together?
