Sudden problems w Parallax GPS

Hi,
Today I was having much success in reading in raw GPS data to the Propellel. A few modifications to the board and code (nothing at all to do with the GPS), and suddenly all I get from the GPS is null characters (0).
I'm powering the unit for 5V, using a prop pin to bring /raw low, reading in on P25 with a 10K resistor to SIO and using FullDuplexSerial.
GPS.Start(25,26,0,4800)
I am using the PropProto Board.
Worked fine, then didn't.... am I missing something?? The GPS's indicator shows it seems to be search/locating satellites ok. I've tried bringing /RAW low manually.
