History question
I'm hoping someone on this forum has seen a magazine article that I remember from quite a few years ago. It was about an LED display made of a single column of LEDs placed in a vertical row. The LEDs were sent one column of a graphic image at a time at a fairly quick rate. The idea was·that as you walked past the display, like through a doorway, you would·see the image in your peripheral vision almost accidently. If you looked directly at·the display all you would·see was a bunch of blinking LEDs.·I don't remeber where I read it but it would have been in one of the more popular electronics mags from many years ago.
Anybody recall this?
Thanks
