Basic stamp amp question

I know the amp limitations on the I/O ports are 20ma high and 25ma low. What are the limitations on the VDD and VIN?

Thanks.

The LM2936 (regulator on the BASIC Stamp)·can handle 50mA.

Since the Stamps are based on either the PIC or SX architecture, you can always refer to those datasheets for the final word.
For example, the BS2 uses a PIC 16C57 processor. The datasheet for this (ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/30453d.pdf) shows that the total current into Vdd is limited to 100ma and the I/O pin maximums (25ma sink, 20ma source) are more limited. In particular, any single I/O port (group of 8 pins) is limited to 50ma sink and 40ma source.
